Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Setta iOS App and settawin.com. Setta 1.0 is an offline-first campsite planning tool. It does not operate remote accounts, a public community, or cloud synchronization.

2. Data in the App

Your local account details, campsite plans, gear state, field notes, comments, likes, hidden-source records, feedback, and media remain in the App container on your device. An email address identifies a local workspace, and the password is stored in Apple Keychain. The developer does not receive this content through the App.

3. Photos, Camera, and Microphone

Setta accesses these system capabilities only when you select photos or record video. Selected media is copied into local App storage for field notes on this device. A recorded video may include sound.

4. Website Access

The website host may process an IP address, browser information, and security logs required to deliver and protect the site. The website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking and does not require an account.

5. Sharing

Setta does not sell personal data, include advertising or third-party behavioral tracking SDKs, or send local content to third parties. Content exported through an iOS share sheet is handled by the destination you choose.

6. Retention and Deletion

Local content remains until you delete it, delete the local account, or uninstall the App. See Account & Data Deletion for the in-App path and scope. This version cannot restore data after uninstalling the App or moving to another device.

7. Children

Setta is intended for a general audience capable of planning outdoor activity. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information.

8. Contact and Changes

For privacy questions, use the contact channel on the Support page. If data practices materially change, this policy's effective date will be updated and the App will request consent again when required.
